To promote the sale of Pillsbury Cookie items at Boomers outlets, to reward fans and to give away novelty items, the Cookie Boomster Giveaway was launched. The promotion required the team to verify Pillsbury purchases, a microsite was built to verify receipt numbers against time, date and location.
