12 'hard to make' predictions about T&T Carnival 2014. (that I will go ahead and make anyway)

Bands/masquerders will complain about how long they had to wait to get into the Savannah with 3 to 4 hour waits on one spot
Bunji or Machel or both will win Soca Monarch
A south band will not win Panorama
Tribe will spend a minimum of 2 hours on stage on Carnival Tuesday
A bikini, beads and feathers band will win the Band of the Year Title (since McFarlane has followed Minsh into retirement and there are only BBF’s left)
Army Fete will be the safest fete in town
The radio stations (two in particular) will decide the road march winner long before Carnival Days
Calypso Tents will continue to attract TTARP members only
The two bodies representing mas bands will continue to fight
Broadcast rights will not be determined and allocated before noon on the Saturday before Carnival (making it impossible for the station(s) receiving the rights to sell shows to advertisers)
Some masqueraders will pay for costumes that they will not receive
Dimanche Gras 2014 will be better than Dimanche Gras 2013 (actually, this is an easy prediction.)
