I have always heard that if you have a brilliant idea and do not work on making it materialise, someone else somewhere in the world will. Such is the case with HubBox Grocery, an online shopping option of every day grocery items, delivered directly to your door. This is an idea I had long before the internet was readily available. I thought of a service where senior citizens could telephone the “grocery” and get stuff delivered to their door. Guess who procrastinated.
From the sleek look of HubBox’s web page, I am not vex that I was slow on the draw with this idea. The first impression is a great one. And reading the FAQ, I can see that whoever is behind this enterprise thought of everything that needed to be thought of.
In a society where we are always blind to the good things that exist locally, I tip my hat to the folk behind this initiative.
