In today’s world, advertisements play a very important role for the success of a product or company. They must deliver powerful messages which attract people’s attention. For print, creative teams have to be imaginative, able to write strong copy, be mindful of the target audience and stay true to the brand’s identity/equity. Minimalist ads are popular for their simplicity, single image, one/two word catchy slogans, strong messages, and few colours.
More often than not, we end up working with clients who adopt a “more is more” stance. If you flip through any of the daily’s in T&T you will be barraged with a mess of press ads containing loads of fonts, images, messages, sub-messages, links, contact information, logos, swirls, gradients, star bursts, and the list goes on and on.
In this series I’d like to present 20 minimalist print advertisements that inspire.
I’m a huge fan of this style and hoping we can get an opportunity to showcase some minimalist work in the future. Enjoy!
