Twas Christmas in July, Friday 28th staff did meet.
At such decibels was the laughter, you heard it from the street.
Oh how beautifully the room was so well bedecked.
Christmas tree, lights and music, the atmosphere was superbly set.
Arriving late at the shindig, things were in full swing.
The game, “Cards against humanity” some were playing.
From the eyebrow-raising responses that did persist,
Good sources informed me that those players (Shilohe, Zo Mari, Dameon, Stefan, Ariana and Candace) have been struck off Santa’s 2023 gift list.

So quiet, so stush, you’d swear they were in VIP.
The Taipan in festive shirt and shorts with legs a’showing,
Was not his usual mischievous self this July Christmas evening.

The GM had all under control, but for the laughing outbursts
Which, rivaling that of Barry and Edwards, surely placed first.
Taheera with her perpetual smile and Sydney with the Halle Berry hair
Wonderfully rounded off the staff July Christmas cheer.
And what great cheer it was – Homemade delights better than Martha Stewart’s servings
Sweet bread, black cake, ham, and “brownies that weren’t brownies” the maker kept saying.
Punche-a-creme, rum, Scotch, and Pola Beer were also in the offering,
Completing the merriment for remote colleagues, face-to-face in the building.
Rumour has it that the two ladies who were enjoying the wine (The noun. Not the verb)
Are hoping that there’s going to be Christmas in August in a month’s time.
