Whose going to be the first to use the “N” word?

Our best judgement says no, yet we say yes.  And why?  Because we need the money.  We like the perks that come with the job.  We adore the status.  We crave the power.  Or sometimes we just can’t bring ourselves to talk the truth:  “Your idea is the crappiest I have heard and I would not do it if it were my 10th choice.”  So what follows is a faint and sometimes even an enthusiastic “ok”.

What if our clients or bosses or parents gave us permission to disagree?  What if they even gave us permission to fail?  Ok, now I might be going too far. Let’s work on the first one; permission to disagree. Let’s start there and see what happens.  Or you can give yourself permission.

Here’s some advice on the subject from  Rob Mills , a web project manager and author.
