Machel’s share of voice is equal to his share of market. And some.

If your product is as good as or better than your competitors, then you have to get 3 more things right. You have to make sure it’s available, at the right price and that awareness of it is high. Machel is winning on all counts. On the count of four he has product, price, place and promotions right; which makes him a genius.

This Carnival he continues his dominance of the mind with some nifty moves….entry into Groovy Soca…announced his intention to enter the Chutney Arena,  his walking hand in hand with the Honorable PM at Machel Monday, Mr Fete TV series, his co-creation of RAMA, and his fete schedule which is second only to the Tent suppliers.  Stated simply, Machel is everywhere.  And he breaks the laws of marketing by being equally appealing in Speyside, Caroni, Arouca and West Moorings.

Very few have been spared the monster Machel marketing muscle.  Some notable exceptions that have managed to come through these Machel decibels are: All Rounder with his burlesque Garlic sauce routine, KI in the Chutney arena, Dil-E-Nadan as the People’s Choice of All Inclusives, Aaron Duncan the 8 year old “future Machel”,  the “Greens” experiment by Pan Trinbago  (for the wrong reason) and one more: the supremely confident and asbestos coated entreprainer named Iwer.  According to the text books, all things being equal, share of voice equals share of market .    And Iwer does not read text books.  Or so it seems.
